Read Description => Extraordinarily Engraved Pin Brooch pendant enameled painted Morgan Dollar & Barber half and Quarter 1897 25C 1899 50C NO PIN 1883 $1 1899 Barber half dollar. The reverse has been enameled. All the detail of the eagle and surrounding features, and the lettering have been enameled. Detail for the eagle, the arrows, the ribbon/banner with the motto on it have been very skillfully painted to show the detail that is there in the silver. The piece was made to be a pin or brooch, but the pin and its loop are gone from what would have been the back side of the pin (the originally front side as a coin). The colorful piece shows up very well still. The pin back could be replaced for that type of use, or it could be put in a bezel for use in that manner. The enamel shows only a couple of very tiny bits of material loss, or crackle to the areas.
